Why I don't like saying Merry Xmas

At a Simbang Gabi a few years ago, it was explained that the season is about Christ. And what’s X in math? Something that’s unknown. If we’re saying X instead of Christ, then it seems like he’s an unknown. The season is about Him so that’s why ever since then I’ve said Merry Christmas instead of replacing Christ with an X.
